You are not interested in crash diets.
Diets that promise immediate weight loss, get slim quick diets.
They help you lose weight, but once you’re off that - you come back to you where you started.
Don’t stick with “the 30-day starvation plan you’re on to fit into a suit and then going back to how you ate before.”
You are not interested in quick fixes or fad cleanses. They don’t address the root problem of getting rid of obesity.
Instead, you look for changes that you can stick to within the long term that will allow you to stay in shape and maintain momentum (and confidence) over a long period of time (think decades, not weeks, or months).
Now, when I say “give up coke” or “try to minimize junk consumption” of certain foods, don’t freak out.
Trust me that these are the foods that are probably causing the most issues on your body and mind. As you achieve your goals, you can OCCASIONALLY decide to eat or drink something unhealthy, and it won’t be a big deal.
This is FAR preferable to completely quitting burgers and pizza, losing control, and then after a few days or weeks deciding to binge eat because things didn’t go as planned.
Instead, what we want are slow, gradual changes that are things that you can live with and say “Hey, that’s not so bad.”
After a few days of “Hey, that’s not so bad,” looking back - you won’t even notice them at all!
