When I hear this question, all I can hear is ‘I want Spot reduction’.
What is spot reduction?
Spot reduction refers to the claim that fat in a certain area of the body can be targeted for reduction through the exercise of specific muscles in that desired area. For example, exercising the abdominal muscles in an effort to lose weight in or around one's midsection.
But what most people don’t understand is that spot reduction is not possible!
Fat & Muscle are two different entities and not related to each other. They are totally different and you can’t gain muscle and lose fat together (extremely rare cases are an exception).
If you keep doing stomach exercises hoping that you’ll lose fat on your belly, you’re wasting your time.
If you go after losing weight, naturally spot reduction can come in areas where you need to lose weight - gradually.
You can lose fat with the combination of a calorie deficit diet & a lenient workout routine.
BE PATIENT.
With overall fat loss and patience, you’ll achieve spot reduction( in more areas you wanted).
Exercise will help you tighten your skin naturally and keep your body in shape.
The day you stop obsessing over losing fat from certain areas and start focusing on health and general fitness, you might just see changes you’ve never seen before!
