It’s a crowded market out there when you think of fitness. There are gurus, coaches, nutritionists, and influencers part of this massive multi-billion $ industry.
We as humans tend to care about our body and health - so will always spend the buck to look after it.
Fun fact: Consume as many carrots as you can. They have 0 fat content.
But oftentimes, we do not know that if it’s the right mentor we’re going with. This blog post is about that.
P.S.: This post is for those who’re currently being coached/mentored by someone else.
Ask Questions
If you’re going in to be mentored by someone, you need to find a mentor who aligns with your goals and can show a realistic plan for your goals.
In weight loss, most people end up giving in to the urge. You could be one of them as well, and if you can’t ask your mentor to take that into account while making diet plans for you.
Few Questions you can ask?
What happens if I am unable to lose weight from your diet plan?
Can you make a custom-tailored plan according to my preferences OR is it a stick plan? (Always take 2-3 days of diet before joining the program, to understand the things you’ll need to consume)
How do you differentiate yourself from other mentors?
If your coach/mentor is able to answer all these questions for you, you should know whether you should stick with them or not.
